I know.....it has been way too long since I updated the blog. ALOT has happened since mid January. We've celebrated 3 birthdays at the Schipper household. Luke turned the big 32 on January 19th. We made him a chocolate cake, Gracyn's favorite, and gave him a purple #4 jersey. We watched the Vikings lose their big opportunity......Luke is hopeful that he will be able to sport the #4 next season.
In February we celebrated Valentine's Day with pink cupcakes and pink pancakes. I traveled to Las Vegas for a week, and then to Atlanta for a few days for work. I was welcomed home to Grandpa and Grandma Schipper who came out to celebrate Gracyn's and Wyatt's birthdays. Gracyn got strep throat a few days before her big BOUNCE HOUSE birthday party and Wyatt had a terrible cold. Needless to say, both we absolutely miserable at Gracyn's party. She did however, manage to eat her chocolate cupcake and open MANY presents feeling just fine! Some of her favorite gifts were and easle and Dopey the dwarf.
We had a small family birthday party for Wyatt's big day. I am still in denial that he is 1. Gracyn and I made him a birthday cake that said, BUGGY. Gracyn affectionaly calls him Bug or Buggy. He was not interested in his birthday cake at all. He poked at it a few times, then tossed it aside. Gracyn had a great time opening his presents. He started taking steps on his own this past weekend!!!
Some other big news items that have happened these past few months; Wyatt had surgery to put tubes in his ears and is doing great. They had their 3 year and 1 year check ups on Monday, Wyatt is 22 pounds and Gracyn is 29. We upgraded our 2000 Silver Camry to a 2010 Silver Camry!
